Welcome to the Bunker, an orderly underground utopia where everyone’s needs have been satisfied! We all have a job and all the slop we can manage to get down. Officially, nothing exciting ever happens in the Bunker, and that's a Good Thing. After all, excitement can only be the result of terrorist activity, and that's (of course) a Bad Thing. Fortunately, Control is in charge and – as long as we're loyal! – we are also safe. Inspired by the roleplaying game, Paranoia, it’s always hard to tell what ridiculous situation we’ll find ourselves in next or – more importantly – how we can get out with all the body parts in their proper place. |

It is the future. The world is a boring, oppressive, and mundane place. Six major empires exist, one of which is the United States and its Northern European and Central American provinces, now ruled as a “Freemocracy”. The Justices of the Supreme Court are powerful adepts at the black arts, and the President, Samuel Judas Epstein, opposes them. It is into this bitter feud that Marcellus Gyges and his friends inadvertently step when he finds a magical ring with the power of command. He and his friends go to Washington with the intention of seizing power. After all, when you can do what you want with impunity, what's to stop you? As it turns out, there's plenty, including the most difficult thing in the world to overcome: yourself! |

David Berkowitz is just another college student, or so he seems. His freshman year at the Johns Hopkins University will be one he never forgets, even if he ought to. He falls in love. A lot of people do that. He grapples with insanity. Not so many people do that. Was it all the LSD? The stuff they smoked? The cocaine? At a certain point it doesn't really matter. |
